Try It Out Thursday: Greek Yogurt Popsicles

Greek yogurt: Good…Popsicles: Good…Greek Yogurt Popsicles: Amazing and Easy!

Greek Yogurt Popsicles_7

I made these for the 1st time around the 4th of July so chose patriotic fruit flavors/colors (Strawberry-Pomegranate, Banana-Honey, and Blueberry-Black Cherry), because yah know, nothing says “I love America” quite like GREEK yogurt popsicles. Regardless, these are delicious, easily altered, and ridiculously simple.

  • 1 container (5-6 oz) Greek  yogurt (Plain, Vanilla, or Flavored)
  • 1/2 cup Fruit of choice
  • 1 T. Honey, or another sweetener, if desired

  1. Blend all ingredients in food processor/blender (or chop fruit up in to small pieces and mix by hand?)
  2. Place in popsicle molds and freeze.
  3. Run under hot water to loosen up from mold, and enjoy!

My popsicle molds are pretty tiny (the above recipe would fill 3) but this would probably make 2 normal sized popsicles!

For days when even that sounds like too much effort (hey, it happens…stop judging!) feel free to just scoop your favorite flavored Greek yogurt in to the molds and freeze without adding anything! I recently received of shipment of Chobani’s newest flavors and decided to do just that!

{A Chobani filled fridge is a happy fridge}

Wanting a creamsicle? Go ahead and fill your popsicle molds up with the Orange Vanilla Blended variety. Want to get a little creative? Mix up the Key Lime and Coconut Blended flavors and freeze. Pretty freaking good!

No popsicle molds? No problem. As I am sitting here typing this I just pulled a container of a new flavor in their “Bites” line, Mint with Dark Chocolate Chips out of the freezer. Portion controlled frozen yogurt? Don’t mind if I do! It really doesn’t get much simpler than that! 🙂

FroCHO{Proof, in case you needed it!}

Also new in their “Bites” line and a seriously unique yogurt flavor: Honey with Ginger. This my friends, is not to be missed!

To recap, things to Try Out this Thursday: Greek Yogurt Popsicles, Frozen Greek Yogurt, and Chobani’s new Honey with Ginger bite-sized frozen yogurt! Get to it!

How do you use Greek yogurt? Just as yogurt or does it get incorporated into any recipes? Post the link if it does!

Disclosure: Chobani samples were sent to me for free. I was not asked to post about them, nor am I compensated for doing so. I regularly consume Chobani and Oikos brand Greek yogurt, but will grab others if they are on sale! 🙂

    OK how good would the oikos cafe latte be in Popsicle form? I normally freeze my flavored Greek yogurts but I lack popsicle molds. So jealous you have tried the mint chocolate chip!!!
